![]() THE BREAKDOWN We are excited for everyone to join us this year for Christeens 2023. The theme's goal is to affirm our confidence in the Timeless Truth of God and the message of Jesus. God was, is, and will forever be TRUTH, which makes him a Timeless Truth. Worship: Zac George and team are BACK for CT2023, and we can't wait to be all together to worship our Lord again. Sessions 1 & 2: Jonathan Storment will bring messages that will help lay out some of the challenges we all face with different philosophies about our faith. He will remind us about the Timeless HOPE we have in Jesus. But this requires some action; we must step into this message of truth and live it out. Spring boarding into the fundamental disciplines we get to practice during the Breakout Sessions. Sessions 3&4: David Fraze will bring the practical applications and next steps connecting our lives with the gospel message. We want the student to have the heart of "consideration" of this Timeless Faith through the Timeless Word. Our calling is to be people of confident action through the Timeless WORD. Colossians is the foundation for our talks in 2023. Breakout Sessions will focus on fundamental spiritual disciplines that help secure this message confidently. (Sing) Terry Davis will help us bring a reminder of the power of worship/song as a spiritual discipline. (Pray) Jonathan Penrod will help us understand there is more to prayer than a segue but a fundamental discipline as we meditate in the arms of our God. (Serve) CHRISTeens in Action: every year, we think about how to serve the community as CHRISTeens. This year we have three opportunities in one 55min Class. 1. River Valley Food for Kids: We have a chance to continue, or Part 2, to our food pack last year. We will help bundle together menu's that help with the education of food stabilization in our communities. We take this kind of thing for granted. 2. Benny Baker is allowing us to pack food bags for Honduras. 3. Cards: We find it appropriate to take the time to stop and write a card of encouragement to someone who means a lot to us. Each student will have a few moments to write some cards of encouragement. Entertainment: Josh Horton is our guest entertainment for CT2023! You're not going to want to miss this! It's going to be a GREAT time
